John 3:7-9

⁷ Do not be astonished that I said to you, ‘It is necessary for you to be born from above.’^{[a] 8} The wind blows wherever it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

⁹ Nicodemus answered and said to him, “How can these things be?”
